A 2018 climate projections study commissioned by the provincial government. It identifies the projected changes to the province’s climate by mid- and late century. This study includes temperature projections for 28 locations in the province, as well as Schefferville (Quebec).

Newfoundland and Labrador Geoscience Atlas
GeoAtlas is an interactive online mapping and data portal provided by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. It allows users to view, search, explore, and download geoscience-related geographic information for the province.

This flood map will assist in regulating new developments in flood-prone areas, help minimize flood damage to properties and the environment, and restrict activities that could degrade water resources.
Coastal Flooding – Environment, Conservation and Climate Change
(Newfoundland & Labrador Atlas of Storm Surge and Wave Climates)
This resource explains current and future storm surges and wave patterns along the province’s coast. The Atlas provides a set of advanced numerical models developed specifically for this initiative, which cover the entire province’s coastline with spatial resolutions as fine as 1.5 km
NL Coastal Flood Simulation App
This app uses detailed elevation data to map where flooding could happen and how deep it may be. It shows flood levels in small increments and uses a bathtub inundation model to simulate flooding depth and extent.
